Salman Khan will not be hosting the third season of the OTT version of the contentious reality show Bigg Boss when it returns. The actor’s committment to a project has caused him to bow out of the upcoming season.
A source claims that Salman Khan will not be hosting Bigg Boss OTT’s third season. Rather, Anil Kapoor, the actor, will take over as the third season’s host.
Salman Khan is currently concentrating on the preparations for his next movie, Sikandar, which is helmed by AR Murugadoss. According to the source, this is one of the reasons he declined to host Bigg Boss OTT’s third season.
The insider continues, “Salman has let go of Bigg Boss OTT since he is anticipated to begin filming for Sikandar in June. Salman believed that since he is also well-known for hosting a reality programme on television, the audience would perceive his film commitment as being monotonous as well.”
Through a promotional campaign, the creators gave away the change. Bigg Boss OTT will debut in June of next month, Jio Cinema revealed in a minute-long announcement promo on their official Instagram account on Wednesday.
“Yeh season hoga khaas ekdum jhakaas,” a voiceover concludes the promotional video, using the phrase “jhakaas,” which is commonly connected to Anil Kapoor.
