Cannes Film Festival: Following in his footsteps, Shaan’s son Maahi, began his career as a playback singer.
Cannes Film Festival is witnessing a lot of Bollywood talent and charm this year. Shaan, who is well-known for his playback vocals, is excited as he presented his son at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. At the esteemed film festival, the musician, who is bringing three young pop stars to Cannes 2024, presented his son Maahi.
Shaan posted snippets from Cannes 2024 on his Instagram page. “At the #Cannes… extremely proud to introduce Maahi, Arjun, and Pragati at the Cannes Film Festival 2024,” he wrote as the caption for his photo.
These up-and-coming artists represent Indian music’s future. The crowd was enthralled by their performance at the #BharatParv event held at the Hotel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes! (two emojis of a heart, folded hands, and smiling faces).. Many thanks to @saregama_official and the team!
Maahi posted updates from Cannes as well. He is seated at a restaurant in the pictures, and there is a pigeon on his table. “Made friends with a pigeon in Cannes (smiling emoji) Super excited for tonight (heart and three ‘I love you’ emojis)” was the description he wrote for his photo. Additionally, Maahi just released a new song called “Sorry,” which got positive reviews.
Shaan, whose real name is Shantanu Mukherjee, performed in numerous languages, including Bengali, Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, Telugu, Kannada, and Bhojpuri. In Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, he made his Bollywood singing debut alongside Musu Musu Haasi and Woh Pehli Baar. In addition, he has playback vocal credits in the films Dil Chahta Hai, Fanaa, Taare Zameen Par, and 3 Idiots.
